Is there a free trial?
Yes. Every WinPal plan starts with a 3-day free trial. You get full unlimited access — invoices, estimates, AI voice-to-estimate, online payments, the works — and you can cancel any time before the trial ends without being charged.
Do I need a credit card to start the trial?
Yes — the 3-day trial is started directly from the App Store or Google Play, so a payment method is required to begin. You won't be charged during the trial, and you can cancel before it ends straight from your Apple ID or Google Play subscriptions.
Are there any hidden fees or add-ons?
No. WinPal is one flat subscription — $6.99/week, $17.90/month, or $98.99/year — with unlimited invoices, unlimited estimates, unlimited clients and unlimited PDF templates. No per-invoice fees, no add-on costs. The only third-party fees are the standard Stripe / PayPal / Apple Pay processing fees if you accept online payments, which are charged by those providers, not by WinPal.
How much do you charge to accept payments?
WinPal does not add any fees on top of online payments. When your client pays an invoice with card, Apple Pay or PayPal, the standard processor fee applies (typically around 2.9% + $0.30 in the US for Stripe / PayPal). You keep 100% of the rest.
How much can I save with the annual plan?
About 73%. The weekly plan works out to roughly $363/year, while the annual plan is $98.99/year — that's the equivalent of $1.90/week. The monthly plan at $17.90 saves you about 28% vs weekly. If you know you'll use WinPal for more than ~14 weeks, the annual plan is the cheapest choice.
Can I cancel any time?
Yes. You can cancel any time directly from the App Store (Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions → WinPal) or Google Play (Play Store → Menu → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → WinPal). Your access continues until the end of the period you've already paid for.
What happens to my data if I cancel?
Your invoices, estimates and clients stay safely on your account. If you re-subscribe later, everything is exactly where you left it. You can also export your invoices and estimates as PDFs at any time — they're yours to keep.
Can I switch between plans?
Yes. You can switch between weekly, monthly, and annual any time from inside the app — Settings → Manage Subscription. Apple / Google handle the proration automatically so you only pay the difference.
Can I manage more than one business on one account?
Each account is for a single business today. If you run multiple businesses, you can create a separate account per business with a different email. Multi-business support is on our roadmap — let us know on the waitlist if you need it.
What devices does WinPal work on?
WinPal is built mobile-first for iPhone (iOS 15.6+) and Android. You can create, send and get paid for invoices and estimates entirely from your phone, on the job site, with no desktop required.
Can I use my own currency and tax settings?
Yes. WinPal supports the major world currencies and lets you configure your local tax rates and labels (sales tax, GST, VAT, withholding) from Settings — once at setup, then applied to every invoice automatically.
Do you offer refunds?
If you subscribed via the App Store or Google Play, refunds are handled by Apple or Google directly — request one through your purchase history in their respective stores. We're happy to help you through it.
